VE-4213 is a long-chain alkyl alkoxy silane. It is easy to dissolved in ordinary organic solvent, and easy to be hydrolyzed to generate silanol. The silanol can be condensed and synthesize polysiloxane, or react with other functional group such as hydroxyl to form a new structure. Long-chain alkyl has character like compatible in organic solvent, and hydrophobic.
